I’m thankful for:
Having a car that runs.
A city full of playgrounds.
The health and safety of my family (especially in light of the terrible tragedy that befell Virginia Tech today. I simply cannot fathom the awfulness.)
The waddling of pigeons.
Water. Clean and serene and hydrating.

- My mom buying us plane tickets for a trip to Illinois (I’m tempted to say “home”) in June.
- SafePlace Walk
- the chewy chocolate and caramel goodness of a Riesen
- Having a library down the street where we can get piles of great children’s books to read to Dulcie. Libraries are awesome.

- Dulcie’s daycare teacher telling me she was “back to being Dulcie” after being grumpy and withrawn Dulcie for a few unhappy days.
